What’s your first reaction when you’re asked to take part in a radio, TV or conference panel?
Butterflies?
Terror?
Immediately blurting NO?
Fear not. This course will transform your attitude to participating in panel discussions and teach you how to give a memorable performance.
What will you learn?
This one-day course will show you how to:
- prepare for a panel discussion
- demonstrate your expertise in an effective way
- communicate your message with confidence, clarity and “colour”
- engage with other panelists to produce a lively and informative discussion
- manage awkward questions and deal with the crossfire
- handle interruptions
- control your panic/nerves
- assess when to say NO to taking part in some panels
- avoid things you should not do on a panel
Duration: 10am-5pm
