This course was a real gem! I participated with all the senior female leaders in my team and it worked on a number of different levels: great team building, really practical tips on using your voice and posture whilst presenting and finally the added value of building confidence around communicating in a genuine way as a female leader in what can often be male dominated settings. I highly recommend. (Corporate Training in Public Speaking)

I found the opportunities to practice delivering a speech really beneficial and I learned some great tips. Broadly Speaking gives you structures you can rely on to get your point across no matter what the subject is. (Public Speaking: Lend Me Your Ears)

The day was very useful. Being a skilful and engaging public speaker is a work skill that can be very important but is often overlooked in the day-to-day haste. Most people can improve at public speaking by working on it, thinking about it and practising. I also enjoyed meeting women from other fields of work and professions, which enhanced the experience.

I cannot recommend this half day course highly enough.  The content was clear, concise, creative and really well presented by Margaret Ward who shared her extensive industry knowledge and experience while also deferring to the wealth of expertise and knowledge in the room amongst the course participants.  Margaret facilitates in a way that highlights what you already know while providing the essential structure to help you shape this to something at least pitch worthy and probably print worthy. The course was informative, helpful and a lot of fun.  Since doing the course I have had 3 articles printed in National Newspapers and have been invited to join the Huffington Posts Blog team.  I also used the pitch skills Margaret taught us to approach a production team about contributing to a TV documentary they were making and I was included as an expert. Very well thought out course. Looking forward to putting it into practice. This is an empowering course, much needed given the male dominance of panels. I look forward to seeing a subtle shift in the demographic. (Panellist Bootcamp)
